The Grandparent Portrait Exhibition

The 2009 Grandparent Portrait exhibition, designed to connect students with their family roots and instill pride, attracted nearly 400 entries. Funded in part by the Community Arts Grant Program using funds provided by the City of Santa Barbara in partnership with the Santa Barbara County Arts Commission and Student Art Fund, 118 finalists were exhibited at the Faulkner Gallery.

Award Recipients

Student artists whose submissions were judged to be outstanding were awarded Ribbons of Merit.  The following are the recipients of the awards.
