2011 Grandparent Show Awards

The 2011 Grandparent Portrait exhibition, designed to connect students with their family roots and instill pride, attracted 535 entries. One hundred and fifty-seven finalists were selected to be exhibited at the Faulkner Gallery.

Award Recipients

Student artists whose submissions were judged to be outstanding were awarded Ribbons of Merit and received a cash prize.  click on the artist’s name to view their artwork

Funded in part by the Community Arts Grant Program using funds provided by the City of Santa Barbara in partnership with the Santa Barbara County Arts Commission.  Funding was also provided by the Santa Barbara Art Association and by the Student Art Fund, which is supported by donations from the communities it serves.
