Logan Kruidenier

Logan Kruidenier painted a portrait of his godfather Daniel who lives a few blocks from him.  “He’s always been this fun guy who I could hang around with.  He taught me how to play Frisbee.  He’s on an ultimate Frisbee team.”  Logan painted the portrait in Diana Hemsley’s Dos Pueblos Painting class.  “I did an underpainting of his face in red and then I decided to keep it that way and surrounded it with a scene of him fishing in Idaho.  I’ve been to his cabin in Idaho.  The Salmon River runs next to his backyard.  I’ve fished in that river with him.”
