Eligibility: Artwork produced by a public junior high or high school student of Carpinteria, Goleta or Santa Barbara during the 2021-2022 school year.

A jury panel will determine three Awards of Merit for each category. Student winners will receive certificates, ribbons and publicity on our website and in the local media.

TEACHER DIRECTIONS:
1. A teacher may submit up to ten (10) pieces of student work. Work may be spread among the categories. There is no fee to enter.

2. Teachers will receive $10 per entry to compensate for extra time used to gather and photograph artwork and to complete online entries, including obtaining parental consent.

3. The same student may be represented more than once, or ten different students, at teacher’s discretion, to total no more than ten pieces of work entered.

4. Students may or may not be enrolled in an art class, but must be presently enrolled in the school.

5. All artwork submitted will be displayed and archived on the SAF website with names of students, schools, grade levels and teachers. Awards will be noted.

6. In submitting an entry, the teacher affirms that the entry is the sole original work of the student.
